Customer Review: My faithful calculating companion
I bought mine about 10 years ago, and I still have it and use it extensively. It has seen use all through pursuing my undergraduate degree and my Ph.D., and in my current work. I have used it for calculating things related to computer graphics, statistics, data compression, and a host of other areas. It has always been up to the task. It is loaded with useful functions and does a lot. Sure, it’s not as fast as a more modern one, but it’s more than adequate.

Customer Review: Good calculator
I have used this caculator for about half a year now. it works wonderfully. it takes a while to learn all the functions and notations and stuff, but once you do, it is so cool. i use it for my math class now, and i am super pleased. i am also glad because it seems very durable. i dropped this thing so many times, but it hasn’t broken yet. overall, i would reccommend this to anyone who is looking for a graphing calculator that doesn’t mind taking time to learn the fuctions/doesn’t care that the screen is black and white. my only problem is that it can’t really do inequalities.

Customer Review: This is a Platinum!!!
This is a great calculator, especially for anyone taking caluculus courses or anything from there on. This has helped me through highschool all the way to college, great product and very reliable. HOWEVER, beware, this is NOT the regular TI-89, this is the Platinum version. I just ordered it thinking I would get the old version because I like the colors and design better (easier to read buttons), and the titanium version arrived yesterday. I dont think it is fair at all, considering I paid extra to get the old version, and from what I’ve seen, I threw away money by thinking that the product description was true… You might as well look for the titanium and buy that, save the extra money…FIVE stars for the calculator, ONE star to amazon for generating all this confusion….

Texas Instruments TI-82 Graphing Calculator Customer Review: Graphics Calculator
I purchased this calculator for statistics, and didn’t purchase it directly form Amazon, but from a seller on Amazon in the used category. Unfortunately for me, the seller wasn’t honest in the item description. I didn’t mind that it came with some scratches or engraved with some words on it from the previous owner, but I didn’t appreciate purchasing a broken calculator. I can’t give a review for the itme since I received it broken (and arrived a week later than it should have), but I will rate my review on the seller, which is why it is makred low.

Customer Review: A True Leap
I began using Texas Instruments’ graphing calculators with the TI-83. In addition, I’ve used the TI-81 and TI-82. I’ve seen the calculators improve through the TI-83+, the silver edition, and the TI-84+ and its flavors. They were all improvements and refinements, but not revolutionary. My classroom uses them all and, except for the TI-81 and 82, it’s not a problem.
